Ally
Ally grew up in Abilene, KS, where her love for animals began at an early age. Growing up with pets like her mixed breed dog Callie, a cat named Timone, an Australian shepherd named Sydney, and a yorkie mix named Baxter, she was always surrounded by furry friends. One of her favorite memories is taking care of the neighborhood stray cats and spending time on a family friend’s farm, helping with chickens, turkeys, guineas, sheep, and more.
With a passion for animals, Ally pursued a career in veterinary medicine and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for 14 years. She loves being an advocate for her patients, ensuring they get the care they need since they can’t speak for themselves. Ally believes in the importance of regular check-ups, lab work, and vaccinations to keep pets healthy, especially as they age.
Ally’s dedication extends to her own pets. She currently has two domestic shorthair cats, Sam and Dean, who were adopted from a previous doctor she worked with. They’re littermates, named after the brothers from the show Supernatural. Ally recently lost her American Eskimo dog, Koda, who held a special place in her heart.
Outside of work, Ally is a proud member of the NAVTA and KVTA. When she’s not caring for animals, she loves spending time with her 5-year-old son, Logan, as well as cooking, baking, and running. For Ally, family, friends, and pets are always at the heart of everything she does.
